Apple is well known as one of the largest technology companies out there and their products have changed the lives of millions and have also changed the world of technology forever. The thing about Apple?s products is that the design is so refined and simplistic and this is the work of the companies Senior Vice President of Industrial Design; Jonathon Ive. Ive has now received a knighthood in the UK from the Queen of England for his services to design and enterprise. Jonathon Ive has previously won many awards within the technology industry but none quite so prestigious.
Jonathon Ive is the person behind the fantastic designs of many of the Apple products that are currently on the market including the iPod, iPhone and iPad devices. He also contributed to the MacBook designs and the iMac designs. Jonathon actually holds more than 400 patents to his name covering Apple products and he is said to have designed the knighthood as absolutely thrilling. Ive was born in the UK originally but has since moved to California to work with Apple on their product designs. Ive has featured in a few of Apple?s promotional videos.
