The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini hasn't exactly set the world alight, but Samsung looks set to continue the "Mini" line of devices with a new entrant later this year. The Samsung GT-i9190 -- rumored to go by the name of Galaxy S4 Mini -- has appeared online via the Twitter account a fellow named Ermek Kubanychbekov. Ermek, based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, is also in the lucky position of being in possession of a Galaxy S4. The shots posted on Twitter show the "S4 Mini" from various angles, along with some comparison pictures next to the Galaxy S3 and S4.
Physically, it's the spitting image of the Galaxy S4, right down to the patterned back cover and flattened sides.
On the software side the GT-i9190 is running what looks to be TouchWid'z Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, just like the full-sized S4. Specs, however seem to fall a little further down the food chain. The device is rumored to pack a 1.6GHz dual-core CPU with a 4.3-inch qHD (960x540) SuperAMOLED display.
Samsung has a track record of shipping many, many devices in the mid-range space, but it's interesting to see it once again breaking out its top-shelf branding for what might be a relatively humdrum phone. That said, we'll wait for more official info before passing judgment.

LOS ANGELES (AP) ? "A little awkward" is how Selena Gomez describes her transition from Disney girl to Disney girl gone wild in the new R-rated independent film "Spring Breakers," in which she plays a bikini-clad and heavily armed college student bent on a good time with three friends and some drugs, sex and violence.
"I am getting a little bit older, so I wanted to push myself and kind of get into a little bit more of an indie world. And it was a really great experience for me. And at the same time it has been, of course, a little awkward, but great," the 20-year-old Gomez said Thursday at the film's Hollywood premiere.
Known for her role on Disney's "Wizards of Waverly Place," Gomez actually began moving to a faster track as Justin Bieber's now ex-girlfriend. "Honestly, it's been a weird transition. You never really know what's right or wrong and you can only do the best you can," she said.
Directed by art-house favorite Harmony Korine and also starring James Franco and Vanessa Hudgens of Disney's "High School Musical" fame, "Spring Breakers" follows four young women on a Florida coast vacation romp they financed with a diner robbery.
Some of Gomez's young fans were gathered outside the ArcLight Theatre hoping to catch a glimpse of the star. But she warned them not to go inside.
"I think they're really here to see me. I don't think they're here to see the movie," she said. "This was a little bit different. So yes, they shouldn't go see this."
Gomez is also getting attention these days for her own recent reactions to her split with Bieber. A breakup song from her new album called "Rule The World" just leaked on the Internet. "Our love was made to rule the world. You came and broke the perfect girl," she sings.
Commenting on the song, Gomez would only say, "That's not my first single. But it was a song I recorded. But you'll get to know my album a little bit soon ? sooner than later."

ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) ? A St. Louis-area animal shelter has found a home for a 37-pound cat named Biscuit. It even found him a sympathetic shoulder to meow on.
Operators of the St. Charles County shelter say recent news coverage of the tubby tabby's plight led to more than 100 adoption requests for him.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/10gClxR ) reports that Biscuit will go to live with Ed and Lisa Pyatt next week. The Eureka couple adopted another fat cat, Max, several years ago, and Ed Pyatt says it'll be good for Max to have a buddy.
Biscuit is roughly three times the weight of a normal adult cat and will have to stay on a strict diet. His previous caretakers had to give him up because they could no longer care for him.
